Old Fashion Vanilla Frosting

Enough to Frost 9 Inch 2 Layer Cake

6          Cups Confectioners Sugar (10X)

8          Ounces Unsalted Butter, Room Temperature

2          Tablespoons Heavy Cream

2          Teaspoons Pure Vanilla Extract

In a standing mixer fitted with the paddle attachment, beat the sugar on the lowest speed for 1 minute. Add the butter and beat on medium speed until completely combined and well blended. Increase the speed to medium high and beat until perfectly smooth, about 30 seconds.

Add the cream and vanilla and beat on medium high until incorporated, about 15 seconds. Use immediately.
